why we started PBS

After more than 35 years working in the construction industry, we’ve experienced firsthand just how much time, energy, and expense goes into producing a thorough and accurate estimate. We also know that every hour spent buried in plans, takeoffs, pricing, and bid documents is an hour that could have been spent managing projects, building relationships, supporting your team, or taking care of your customers. That experience is ultimately what led us to start Precision Bid Solutions. We wanted to provide contractors with the estimating support we often wished we had ourselves—experienced professionals who understand construction, not just numbers on a spreadsheet. Whether we’re handling an estimate from start to finish or simply providing a second set of experienced eyes on a large bid, our goal is to catch costly mistakes before they happen, identify opportunities that may have been overlooked, and give our clients confidence when they submit their numbers. We built this company around a simple idea: let contractors spend more time building their business while we help make sure the numbers behind it are right.
